Bonisile Ntlemeza

Teacher, KIPP Houston Public School (KIPP Generations College)

From South Africa, Bonisile earned a B.A. in Culture and Society from the University of the Western Cape.  He then completed his honors degree in Psychology at the Stellenbosch University.  Bonisile began his career with LEAP1 School, located in the township of Langa in Cape Town, South Africa.  LEAP1 is the first in a series of five schools aimed at excelling black learners in South Africa, particularly in math and science, to increase their chance of attending University.  He launched his career with LEAP as the Life Orientation teacher, which develops students into community leaders.  Later, his work evolved into International Liaison for the LEAP schools, and finally Principal of LEAP1.  Currently, Bonisile is a 10th Grade Sociology Teacher and Grade Level Chair at KIPP Houston Public Schools in Houston, Texas. Bonisile joined South Africa Partners’ Board of Directors in 2014.
