Leora Rajak recently moved to the US from South Africa. She specializes in economic inclusion and social impact, de*veloping and advising on strategies for government, the private sector and international agencies (including UNESCO, UNCTAD and UNECA). Leora founded (2008) and led the Johannesburg based company Enterpriseroom Pty Ltd, a specialist consultancy that develops and implements enterprise development and social impact strategies for businesses in South Africa. The company builds entrepreneurial businesses by enabling skills development, access to finance and market linkages while transforming the supply changes of large corporations. Prior to establishing Enterpriseroom, Leora created and led the establishment of a UNESCO initiative to build the sustainability of African World Heritage sites through entrepreneurship, tourism and education opportunities. Leora co-founded Kagiso TV and Communications (1996), a start-up television production company that grew into one of South Africa’s top social marketing companies offering ground-breaking communication solutions to government and corporate clients in Africa. Leora grew up in Johannesburg South Africa. She attended Wits University where she graduated with Honours in Political Science (1992) and was active in the Anti-Apartheid movement and student government.
